“I’m proud of my volunteer work! During the school year, I volunteered at the Boys & Girls Club, I’ve volunteered at the animal shelter, I’m president of Operation Smile. I also volunteer at the nursing home, they’re my favorite people.

I got into volunteering because my parents volunteer a lot, so I did it with them and I genuinely enjoy it. It shows me different perspectives. You see different types of people and lifestyles, and it teaches you to be more open-minded.”
